A straight bet, which is also referred to as a single bet, is simply a single wager on an event. Regardless of which betting line type – moneyline, point spread, over/under - a winning bet is one that correctly predicts the outcome of that one wager.

A group of straight wagers combined in one bet with increased payout depending on the number of selections. For the parlay to be a winner, all selections of the parlay need to win. If there is a push, cancellation, or no action in one or more of your parlay picks, the wager steps down to the next lower number of teams. Two team parlays with one selection resulting in a push, cancellation, or no action, reverts to a straight wager. If all the picks of your parlay are pushes, cancellations, or no action, your parlay is graded as a TIE and the risked funds will be returned to your account.

For almost all sports, parlays including spreads or money lines to totals of the same game are valid. For football, you can parlay side to total of the same game when the ratio between the spread and the total is greater than 4 to 1. For basketball you can parlay side to total of the same game when the ratio between the spread and the total is greater than 12 to 1 for the game, 15 to 1 for halves and 18 to 1 for quarters. You are allowed to parlay money lines to totals on selected options in baseball and hockey. For baseball, hockey, soccer, and most other sports, parlays with spreads to totals are not permitted.

You can either fill all spots on your parlay or leave up to 14 spots open, with no expiration time frame as long as there are no losing selections. Management reserves the right to remove open spots from plays and/or to disable the open wagers feature from an account at any time.

A teaser is a group of straight bets combined into one bet. The line you bet for each individual wager, is moved to your favor by the number of points selected. All of the individual parts of the teaser need to win for the teaser to be a winner. You can either fill all spots on your teaser or leave up to 14 spots open, with no expiration time frame as long as there are no losing selections. Management reserves the right to remove open spots from plays and/or to disable the open wagers feature from an account at any time.

Ties Reduce Teasers – If there is a push in one or more of your teaser's individual parts, then the wager steps down to the next lower number of teams. If a two-team teaser has a push and a winner, then the teaser is "no-action" (refunded). NFL is not available for Ties Reduce 5nfl 5½fb & 4½bk and for Ties Reduce 5½nfl 6fb & 4½bk.

Ties Win Teasers – All ties are treated as winning selections. If one or more of the selections are ties, those selections count as winning picks. Even if all of the selections are ties, all those ties are considered winners in "Ties Win Teasers". A game not played or completed on the original scheduled date is not deemed as a tie. If a game is postponed or canceled, the teaser would step down to the next lower number of teams. NFL is not available for Ties Win 5nfl 5½fb & 4½bk and for Ties Win 5½nfl 6fb & 4½bk.

Ties Lose Teasers – Any tie is treated as a losing selection. A game not played or completed on the original scheduled date is not deemed as a "tie". If a game is postponed or canceled, the teaser would step down to the next lower number of teams.

In instances where a teaser is reduced to a one team teaser due to games being postponed or completely canceled, the player will be permitted to choose replacements for the canceled selections. If there are 2 or more selections of the teaser that were not canceled, then no alterations to the teaser will be permitted. Any loosing pick renders the teaser a loser.

If a two-team teaser has a tie and a loser, the teaser loses.

Betanysports reserves the right to change teaser payouts on an individual account at any time without prior notice. Pending teasers will always be honored with the rules stated at the time the wagers were made.

An If-Bet is a chain of wagers that carry over to the next bet. Wager a fixed amount on one team and if that team wins the game can you set another fixed amount equal to the first wager on the next team.

If win only: Wagers carry over to the next bet only if the player wins the initial selection. If the first wager loses or pushes, there is no subsequent action. As each selection wins, there will be action on the following wager.

If win or push: Wagers carry over to the next bet if the player wins or pushes the initial selection. If the first wager loses, there is no subsequent action. As each selection wins or pushes, there will be action on the following wager.

There may be up to 15 selections in one If-Bet. Correlation restrictions for If-Bets are the same as they are for parlays.

A reverse bet (also known as an action reverse) is a set of if-bets going both forward and in reverse order.

Easily turn your parlay into a Round Robin. A Round Robin bet is a method to box a parlay. Betanysports automatically calculates the combinations for you. A "Round Robin with 2's, 3's" would include all the possible two team and three team parlays which can be made with all the current selections. The risk amount entered will be the desired risk amount on each individual combination created.

A pleaser is a group of straight bets combined into one bet. The line you bet for each individual wager, is moved against your favor by the number of points selected.

Only one side or total may be selected on a game. Pleaser selections with a "side to a side", "side to a total", or "total to a total" within the same game are not permitted.

Pleasers are available for Football and Basketball.
