Cash Back Racebook RULES:

Races with post times after midnight eastern time are graded the following morning.

Once a racing bet has been accepted and a ticket number generated it cannot be changed or cancelled.

Horses are identified by saddlecloth number, not by name. Clients are solely responsible for correctly selecting both horse and race numbers on all wagers.

Wagers are accepted until post time. All past-posted wagers will be voided. If for any reason the race does not close due to technical difficulty and you are able to bet after the horses have left the gate, your bet will be voided and your funds returned to your account, win or lose. Wagering on any race after its completion will result in one of the following outcomes: account suspension, account termination, or account deletion and possible confiscation of the funds. No warnings will be given regarding this type of activity.

Be aware that our Racebook platform pay TRACK ODDS. (see track limits) Track consolation pay outs, if offered by the track, will be automatically paid.

Pool manipulation attempts or playing negative pool hedges will lead to account suspension and earnings from these types of schemes are subject to voiding/forfeiture. If accounts are found to be acting together to circumvent limits they will be suspended and all winnings voided.

If a horse is inadvertently shown as scratched in the wagering menu but runs, there will be no refunds given for any wagers made in said race. In cases where a wager is made before early scratches are announced your wager will NOT BE REFUNDED. If your wager has scratches they will be treated as early scratches.

If there are no track payouts for a certain type of wager, all wagers of that type will be refunded.

Types of Wagers

Straight Wagers - "Win" means First place, "Place" is Second place or better, and "Show" is Third Place or better.

Exotic Wagers - Making an exotic bet is just like placing a straight wager, except now you will be selecting multiple runners. All selections must win. Track consolation payouts will not be credited. The following is a list of exotic wagers we offer:

Exacta: Choose two runners to come in 1st and 2nd in the specified order.

Trifecta: Choose runners to come in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in that specified order.

Superfecta: Choose runners to come in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places in that order.

Quinella: A wager where two runners are selected to finish first and second in any order.

Daily Doubles: A bet attempting to pick the winner of two consecutive races.

Pick3: The Pick 3 requires you to select the winner of 3 consecutive races.

Pick4: The Pick 4 requires you to select the winner of 4 consecutive races.

Coupled Pairs: Horses are coupled in the betting if they share the same owner. If you place a wager on one coupled horse, you automatically get the other. So if you select a Horse that is part of a coupled pair (i.e. horses 1 and 1A), both of the coupled horses are considered as one selection. For example, if you played 1-3-7 as your Trifecta and the result was 1A-3-7, you win. Also, if one Horse gets scratched, you have the other Horse regardless of which Horse you selected. For example, if you select 1A and 1A gets scratched - you still have the 1 Horse. . If part of an entry is scratched and part of an entry runs, all wagers have action. There is no "must go" action as part of the entry. If one of the entry runs, all wagers and bet types have action.

Scratched Horses

Horse scratches are updated automatically by the Cash Back Racebook system. We assume no liability for errors from data suppliers regarding horse scratch status. If you wagered on a horse before it was scratched, the follow rules will be applied:

Win / Place / Show: All wagers refunded when the race is graded.

Exacta / Trifecta / Superfecta / Quinella: Each portion of your wager, which involves a scratched horse, will be refunded when the race is graded.

Daily Double: If the scratch is in the first leg will be a refund for all combinations involved in the scratched horse. If the scratch is in the second leg, after the start of the first leg, there is no refund, but if the winner was selected in the first leg there will be a consolation payout for the scratch in the second leg. If the scratch is in the second leg prior to the start of the first leg the combination with the scratched runner will be refunded. If the winner was not played in the first leg, it is a losing ticket with no refund.

Pick 3 and Pick 4 follow the same rule as tracks regarding consolations and ALL's when there are early and late scratches.

Pick 3: The post-time favorite is substituted for the scratched runner in all states except NY, FL, CA, DE and WV in which there is a refund if the horse(s) scratches before the start of the first leg (once the final leg is declared official). If the horse(s) scratches after the start of the first leg, there will be a consolation payout.

In NY and DE this applies to thoroughbred tracks. Harness tracks substitute the post-time favorite for scratched runners.

At Fair Grounds (in LA), they will refund the wager if the scratch is in the first leg and substitute the post-time favorite if the scratch was in a subsequent leg.

Pick 4: The post-time favorite is substituted for the scratched runner.

In some cases, a change in surface may declare a race an "all win" for specific wager types.

New York Main Track to Turf move - Pick 4, Pick 6, and Grand Slam

When the condition of the turf course(s) warrants a change of racing surface in any of the legs of the Pick 4 and/or Pick 6, and such change has not been known to the public prior to the close of wagering for the Pick 4 and/or Pick 6, the stewards shall declare the changed leg(s) an "all win" race for Pick 4 and/or Pick 6 wagering purposes only. An "all win" race will assign the winner of that race to each Pick 4 and/or Pick 6 ticket holder as their selection for that race.

Kentucky and California Tracks Turf Course Surface Change - Pick 4 and Pick 6

When the condition of the turf course warrants a change of racing surface in any races of the Pick 4 or Pick-6, and such change has not been disclosed to the public prior to "off time" of the first race of the Pick-6, the stewards shall declare the changed races an "all win" race for Pick 4 or Pick-6 wagering purposes only.

Florida Tracks Turf Course Surface Change - Pick 4, pick 5

When the condition of the turf course warrants a change of racing surface in any races of the Pick 4 or Pick-5, and such change has not been disclosed to the public prior to "off time" of the first race of the Pick-4 or 5, the stewards shall declare the changed races an "all win" race for Pick 4 or 5 wagering purposes only.

Racebook Payouts:

Payouts are based on the actual track payout. The odds quotes listed in the race program are informational and are not used to calculate the payouts. Your account will reflect any payouts once the race is graded.

The following table shows the maximum total bet that will be paid out at actual track odds:

Track A maximum net profit per race: $30,000
Track B maximum net profit per race: $15,000
Track C maximum net profit per race: $10,000
Tracks D maximum net profit per race: $3,000
Tracks E maximum net profit per race: $1,000
Harness maximum net profit per race: $3,000
Greyhounds maximum net profit per race: $500

*Meadowland Harness will be a C level Track

If a track is available to bet but does not appear on the list of tracks on our website (see) then maximum net profit per race will be $1,000 max.

There is a maximum net profit on each individual race based on the track category.

Daily Doubles, Pick 3's and Pick 4's count towards the last race in its sequence when calculating the max net profit. The formula will be: (Net Profit = Net Payout for Race minus Total Amount Wagered for Race). This resets for every individual race.

If the track payout on a race pays to ALL on Super/Trifectas, pays out 2 of 3 on a Pick 3, or 3 of 4 on a Pick 4, and your wager has the exact ticket, you’ll be paid out the whole minus the takeout percentage.

If pool information is not available, the payout will be three (3) times the consolation payout period. If take out information is not available, it will default to 20%. If paid out to the whole pool, consolation payouts on the same rates will not apply. All normal tracks limits are still applicable.

If a horse runs for Purse Money Only, track payout rules are followed, as determined by the host track.

These rules are current as of January 1st 2025 and are subject to change
